Wine hike to the Bacchus Speicher winery through the vineyards

The meeting point is the wine town of Hochheim am Main. There you will be received by the winemaker personally or by a deputy tour guide. First there is a short introduction and some historical information about the wine-growing region of Hochheim and the Rheingau wine-growing region. From there, the group walks through the vineyards on a high path with a beautiful view of the region around the wine town of Mainz (Great Wine Capital) to the Bacchus Speicher.

In the vineyards there is vinological information on the operational structures in the Rheingau, grape varieties, climate, soils and the current vintage. The tour ends at the Bacchus Speicher. There you can book a wine tasting or a champagne reception. Information on this under "Wine tasting". 

At the end of the event, you can be picked up by a coach below on Hochheimer Straße or you can use public transport (bus 68) via the nearby Steinern Kreuz Weg bus stop.

 

The tour takes about 1.5-2 hours. The fee per group is € 145.00 in German and €165 .00 in English. Minimum number of participants 15 people.

Cancellation three days in advance possible free of charge. Payment is made in cash on site or against an invoice (50% deposit three days before the event).
