arriving by car

The Gänssaalweg is located at the exit of Kostheim towards Hochheim and branches off from Hochheimer Straße. This is a very small trail, but we've put a sign up to make it easier to find. Follow the Gänssaalweg for 500m until you reach the hill. You will find our Bacchus Speicher on the left, framed by tall trees. 

Arrival by bus and train

The best way to get to us by public transport is to take bus 68. Get off at the "Steinern Kreuz Weg" stop (be careful, you won't find it on Google Maps, but it is at the level of Hochheimer Straße 164) and turn into the Gänssaalweg. Then an approx. 5 minute walk through the vineyards leads to us.

You can get on line 68 at the Mz-Kastel train station, Mainz main station, Höfchen Mainz and at the bridgehead. 

Arriving by bike

Many of our guests come by bike and combine their visit with a bike trip. There are many individual routes through the vineyard landscape or over the beautiful Käsbachtal from Hochheim.
